NEC DS1000 Analog Doorbox

Product Description
The Analog Door Box is a self-contained Intercom unit typically used
to monitor an entrance door. A visitor at the door can press the Analog
Door Box call button (like a door bell). The Analog Door Box then
sends chime tones to all extensions programmed to receive chimes. To
answer the chime, the called extension user just lifts the handset. This
lets the extension user talk to the visitor at the door. The Analog Door
Box is convenient to have at a delivery entrance, for example. It adds
security by allowing you to answer the door at your desk.
- The Analog Door Box is only available in DS1000 (2 maximum). An Analog Door Box plugs
into one of the dedicated Door Box ports (DOOR1 or DOOR2).
- The Analog Door Box can be mounted outside.
Any extension that receives Analog Door Box alerts can also activate a control relay. If the relay is
connected to electric door strike circuits, an extension user can press FLASH or a soft key to
remotely lock and unlock the entrance door. There are two relays in DS1000, one for each Analog
Door Box.
This doorbox is for the NEC DS1000. It cannot be used on the NEC DS2000.
