NEC DS2000 8 Port Analog Station Card (80041B)
Product Description
This is the "B" version that is required for Caller ID to Single Line Telephone.
Use the 8ASTU to connect eight analog devices such as fax machines, modems, or single line telephones to your NEC DS2000.
The 8ASTU PCB connects 8 analog extensions. These can include single line
telephones, fax machines, modems or Voice Mail ports. Just like the 16DSTU
PCB, the 8ASTU PCB has a Mode Switch (for taking the PCB out of service), a
status LED indicating proper PCB operation, and a port activity LED to indicate
traffic on the PCB. The number of 8ASTU PCBs you can install depends on system
configuration. Turn to DS2000 System Configuration on page 22 for more.
Make a note of the following...
- The 8ASTU PCB provides high voltage message waiting for single line sets
with high voltage message waiting lamps.
- The 8ASTU PCB also provides Caller ID to single line sets.
- You can install 8ASTU PCBs in any universal slot except the first.
