Position: Key System Technician
Location: West Chester (Philadelphia suburbs), PA - multiple positions

Installs, repairs, and maintains NEC DS1000/DS2000 telecommunication equipment systems, and/or services at customer's location in an effective and timely manner. Answers tech support calls when not in the field.

Essential Job Functions: Program, install, and maintain NEC Key telecommunication equipment. Collects and stocks van with necessary parts. Maintains safe driving practices. Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Develops personal knowledge/skills necessary to perform required work. Coordinates customers' requests with appropriate company personnel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Has the ability to understand his/her role and responsibilities in a coordinated service delivery process with dependencies on other associates. Maintains a high level, technical knowledge of the NEC DS1000/DS2000 Key System Unit. Skill in operating and maintaining various telephone testing, installation, and repair equipment. Skilled at reading and interpreting technical instructions as applicable to job duties. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ensure that scheduled maintenance, routine care and required repairs are performed on their company-supplied vehicle. Ensure that proper safety precautions and instructions are followed when working with work-related tools and equipment. Provide courteous customer service to new and existing customers. Maintain accurate customer-related documentation and database information. Present a positive image for the level of customer care provided by Network Design & Security, LLC. Provide feedback to supervisor regarding our level of service and feedback from customers.

Education, Experience and Essential Requirements: High School with Trade/Vo-Tech, or 2-year degree 2+ years experience as Telecom network and equipment Installation/Repair Technician. Adaptability to a dynamic technical industry. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record for the past seven years. 2+ years experience NEC Key Systems. Customer service philosophy. Security clearance issued by the US Federal Government or Military may be required for some positions (or clearance last used within past 24 months).




Position: Sales & Service Manager
Location: West Chester (Philadelphia suburbs), PA - one position

Essential Job Functions: Attend comprehensive training programs gaining knowledge of products, product application and regulations, company procedures, sales skills and utilization of company software packages upon hire. Generate sales and gross margin in keeping with daily goals set forth by senior management. Maintain phone time and call productivity as well as other metrics required by the company. Make and accept customer telephone calls and provide honest, sincere and courteous assistance to the customer's needs regardless of assigned Account Manager including necessary follow up to insure that the customer's expectations are exceeded. Provide written and verbal pricing quotes to customers in an organized, timely and professional manner. Maintain rolling account information as prescribed by the company's lead policy, to include contact information, pricing, record of systems sold, competitive information and other recent activity data needed to handle the account. Maintain pertinent penetration data in company computer systems including employee size, contact information, annual spend information, mailing list components, and the like. Utilize the software Goldmine to schedule call planning and timeliness, making sure to maintain the company minimum monthly contact with customers. Follow all written and verbal procedures as described in the company's sales procedures manuals. Attend all applicable company training events to remain enlightened on product knowledge, competitive information, sales skills and new procedures while enhancing these skills through self study, meetings with management to review phone calls or target areas for improved performance. Handle all aspects of a customer's questions and requests honestly and professionally. Meet goals and objectives set by and with management. Follow all policies as defined in the company policy manual. Work with all associates in a professional manner at all times. Perform any other duties that are assigned by management to the best of the associate’s ability.

Education, Experience and Essential Requirements: Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 3 years working experience with direct customer contact/customer service preferred. Able to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra in determining gross margin, gross profit percentage, actual to goal figures, and freight considerations. Safety products knowledge is helpful. High customer service standards. Effective verbal communication and rapport building skills. Well organized. Able to prioritize accurately and manage multiple tasks. Security clearance issued by the US Federal Government or Military may be required for some positions (or clearance last used within past 24 months).
